Beary good new year!

 Hello all! It's been over half a year I know, I know. My work swept me in and I had so little time and energy to do anything besides work, that all my hobbies suffered a bit. But that does not mean I have quit lolita fashion, I am just slow wearer. It makes me so happy to wear lolita, that I don't think I'll give it up. 

A lot has happened, I went to lolita convention last year in september? October? I can't remember the day, but it was Domus Reginae in Turku, Finland! I had a draft about it but I never posted and I felt that it can go on here. I had so much fun there and got to meet my comm after a long time. 

 



I wore Lady Sloths Galaxy Witch OP and it was super comfy! The sack OP cut was so comfortable for a long day and I decided to wear sneakers also. They match quite well and I am really happy with this coord! It's simple, but sometimes you need simple. 




To the teaparty I wore Lady Sloths Teatime at Grandmas! I love the blue in this and the print is just gorgeous. I have talked about this print earlier too, but this coord was the most pastel I have been in a long time. Light blue and pink and super cute together, otherwise I am not a huge fan of pink coords. 

 



And then, the reason for the pun in the header, my new years coord! It's very christmassy colors, but I really enjoy dark green and red together even outside of christmas. This is also the debut of my bear ears! I have a plan to do a coord with them and My coffee time, but we'll see about it later! 

I really enjoyed new years, and I hope that this year is gentler for us all. I will probably not do a wardrobe post this january, since I have not bought new dresses in quite a while. I am still planning on documenting all my lolita pieces, but its quite an undertaking.

Matsucon and Cloudberry Lady FASHION SHOW!

 Hello! I have been at it again and I have returned to this blog! Sooner than later this time.  I attended Matsucon at Oulu, Finland. Its the largest city somewhat near me, and somehow I had some free time from my work! Its somewhat miraculous that I had nothing on my plate at that time so I took it upon myself to apply to be a model!  Tuulia, the designer and owner of Cloudberry Lady, held THE biggest fashion show on her brands history! She told that her brand has 10 year birthday this year, so it was only proper to get BIG.  The Fashion show had a theme of Halloween meets Christmas! We had the tree, some presents, decorations, mad scientist, a triceratops, you know all those essential christmas things? Twinkle Journey and March happenings

 Hello! March has gone by in a flash, I barely realized it was going and now it is going to end! I had a long week workinga at a camp, but now that I have been back at home, I feel much more rested and happy. I have been super busy with work and with personal matters, so taking a break and having some fun dressing up was really welcome and I am glad I did it.  So I wore Twinkle Journey! I have talked about this dress already, but it is the older version of Twinkle Journey, the puff sleeved op cut, but unfortunately the elastic in the sleeves has given up and so my sleeves don't puff up anymore. Still, it is a beautiful dress and I plan on taking this dress to a seamstress and asking if they can replace all the elastics, so that this dress can shine another ten years forward at least!  I really went for the simplest coord idea I had, my dress and headbow are both Twinkle Journey from Metamorphose (yes, I got the headbow secondhand also).
