Of past February

 Hello all! The latter part of February really kicked my butt and so I didn't have time to put together a blog post. But now things are starting to calm down and so I have returned! 

In February, I attended Hello!Con Galaxy -virtual lolita event. I participated in the tea party and watched few of the programs they ran. It was super great to have an excuse to dress up.

I am not very happy with this coord. Even though every piece of it is nice on their own, I think I need to put them separately. I was trying to do full burgundy look, but my red shoes were far too bright. I think that this was one of those coords that sound good on paper but are not that nice when put on. Either way, this was good learning opportunity for me. I have high collar Lady Sloth blouse coming, and I am thinking of pairing it with this dress. This is a tricky neckline as the dresses top is very high already, so this blouses beautiful lace trim does not show. 

I also participated in FluffyKawaiiJo's Coord mashup! I it was so fun! Theme was asymmetry and roses and I submitted this look: 

Lady Sloth - Teatime at Grandmas

I loved this color-combination and I was very lucky to have some rose clips that were purple and blue. This is the most accessories I have put on and of course I forgot to put something on my wrists! I noticed it only after I had submitted and decided that it is enough. But if I was to dress in this again, I would definitely keep some of the roses and add wristcuffs. 

This months theme in Coord mashup is Classic but sweet and cakes. I wonder that would it be cheating if I used the same dress again... But maybe not, maybe I'll try something different. 

So, a little short update on what I have been up to. I hope that March will be gentler this year and that my packages would arrive fast 😅
