Wardrobe update!

 Hello all! I am again trying to update this blog more, though I know that probably this is just for me to ramble as I tend to do. My wardobe has been quite the same, I have not aquired very many dresses in 2021. Mostly because my money has been going towards actual living costs, but now I my situation is looking better and maybe this year I can get the dresses I have been pining for. Meta has been releasing so many beautiful prints! Apple Bunny, Beau Couvert, dim light, Wizard's herbology and now Violets bouquet?! They are all super pretty <3

But back to the topic at hand, wardrobe update! I have two dresses that I have not yet documented in this blog and I just wanted to write a post about them.  





The first one is Batgirl Circle from spookysparkleparty! I bought this over a year ago and I remember it arrived in the beginning of summer. I wore it to celebrate my birthday as it is very comfy dress and definitely in my alley. I love the print, its so magical and fun, black and lavender color scheme is one of my favourites and the dress is just perfect fit for my wardrobe. I wish I had gotten one size down, as the chest area is sown with bigger boobs in mind that what I have, so it kinda sticks up awkwardly. But it does not bother me too much, I just might show it to a seamstress to make it even better fit for me.

It has so many purples, they make me happy :) 


Finally, in my hands, Lady Sloths My Spooky Macarons!!! THE dress that started the black and lavender obsession that I have going and I ADORE it!! The macarons have such cute faces and there is absolutely amazing lace in this! I have detail shot below about the lace, it just is super cool.

Amazing amount of shirring and it stretches very comfortably. One of the comfiest dresses I own, but so are other Lady Sloth pieces. They know how to make the prettiest AND comfiest of dresses. I always say it, but it truly is the case. I love my Lady Sloth pieces so much.


Here is little more of the amazing overall print, my favourite macarons are the bataron and the little mummy ones! I know this print is very halloween, and I don't really celebrate halloween, as in Finland its not as common, though it has been coming more and more widely known. Usually in Finland, people don't wear costumes or go trick and treating, at least where I live. We have other holidays that we dress up. For example, May Day, or May 1st. is known as Vappu in Finland and that is the costume holiday for finns. We celebrate the coming summer and also its known as the workers holiday, it is a bank holiday. Explaining cultural things is quite difficult, I have come to notice. 


But here they are, the two dresses that I have not yet made any posts about. I have not even coorded my spooky macarons!! I have to correct that very soon. I have some free time after this week, so we shall see.

Matsucon and Cloudberry Lady FASHION SHOW!

 Hello! I have been at it again and I have returned to this blog! Sooner than later this time.  I attended Matsucon at Oulu, Finland. Its the largest city somewhat near me, and somehow I had some free time from my work! Its somewhat miraculous that I had nothing on my plate at that time so I took it upon myself to apply to be a model!  Tuulia, the designer and owner of Cloudberry Lady, held THE biggest fashion show on her brands history! She told that her brand has 10 year birthday this year, so it was only proper to get BIG.  The Fashion show had a theme of Halloween meets Christmas! We had the tree, some presents, decorations, mad scientist, a triceratops, you know all those essential christmas things? Well, I had the absolute honor of being the last dress and the triceratops to save the christmas!  All these pictures are from freakyangel.com or @freakyangelxox ! Twinkle Journey and March happenings

 Hello! March has gone by in a flash, I barely realized it was going and now it is going to end! I had a long week workinga at a camp, but now that I have been back at home, I feel much more rested and happy. I have been super busy with work and with personal matters, so taking a break and having some fun dressing up was really welcome and I am glad I did it.  So I wore Twinkle Journey! I have talked about this dress already, but it is the older version of Twinkle Journey, the puff sleeved op cut, but unfortunately the elastic in the sleeves has given up and so my sleeves don't puff up anymore. Still, it is a beautiful dress and I plan on taking this dress to a seamstress and asking if they can replace all the elastics, so that this dress can shine another ten years forward at least!  I really went for the simplest coord idea I had, my dress and headbow are both Twinkle Journey from Metamorphose (yes, I got the headbow secondhand also).
